Painting Workshop in Peak District

I attended a painting workshop by the famous English Watercolour painter Peter Woolley on 27-28 September in Hartington, Peak District area. Went outdoors on first morning and did some sketches of a barn nearby and in the afternoon went along with Peter in painting the same. Couldn't finish by 5.00, so carried into the second morning which was very gloomy to go out. But by the time we finished, sun came out and went out for sketching the stonewalls which are part of the landscape here. After which Peter showed us how to paint the stonewall, there was just time enough for that! Here I post all the work I did as also Peter's. I finished the stone wall painting today. The first one is the painting by Peter Woolley as well as the sketch below(4th image).

Bridge at Taughannoc Falls (upstate NY)

This is the reference photo for my painting, a rather tough one, at many stages it looked like a goner, but I needed the support for another painting, has to finish it, so the agony went on, now it is out of the board, and I think I could say I scraped through and saved it, sort of. Here it is:

What do you think?

Big Ben and Friends

This painting is finished (?) today, I had started this in August before crossing the Atlantic. To achieve balance I added the boat on the left side though it was not on the reference photo. Is this complete yet, does it need something more? I am waiting for a few days before deciding. Views welcome!

Barn and Silos

We stopped on our way back from WATKINS Glen to take photograph of this barn building and the adjusant Silos, which I wanted to paint. Today I completed the painting. First I made a small study which is in my view is better than the bigger version, I changed the colour of the Silos to dark blue which I regret now. Here are the study and the painting:

Big Ben

This is the view of the Big Ben from the Thames south bank. Though the buildings seem to have leaning problem no such thing in the painting, this is the way it is photographed causing the problem.
