Took up the brushes again, after a gap. Redone the earlier barn scene, changed only the sky, put in some clouds. The rest is the same but donot miss the sheep. Comments welcome.
I did this today, was actually planning to start framing for the exhibition, but somehow drawn into doing this. Used a sketch done in Peak District last September. Pleased with it, overall. What do you think?

This is a view of the Trafalgar Square as you are apporaching it from the National Gallery. There are usually a few hundred people over there but I simplified the scene with only a few people. comments welcome.
The Buckingham Palace painting I posted earlier has been renovated! Introduced details in the architecture and darkened the left statue and generally the sky. Looks better now!
And here is another one of the eternal Venice scenes! Tried to bring out the sparkles on the water.
Buckingham Palace, from the panorama photo I made. Used just a triad of colours, I liked the experiment. Sky was added last, usually done first. I like the harmony of the colours, secret of using just 3 of them. Not too much detail, just let the colours flow on the paper but defined the major shapes. I like the visual impact. Comments please!
Size 51x33cms, ready to be framed. Thanks for looking.
After spending 4 days on this one, I am really unhappy with the end product, shall try once more, if I am in the mood. The cropped version looks better though. Here is the cropped version:
